To Be Gifted

Not in having the gift
the ability to write
intelligence, words
not a craft, a skill

Instead, I am thankful
to be gifted, to be given
given by the creator
his words to share

Feeling in this, fidelity,
a responsibility, a calling
to be voice of God
to offer his hope, his love
