We Are the Feet

We are the feet
the followers of Jesus
the feet on the mountain
bringing the message of God

Sharing our faith
in the rituals remembering
the sacrifice of blood
in the bread and the cup

Christ using the Seder
changing the words of the Passover
We like them, the disciples
to spread the loving word

Going as he was sent
fulfilling our purpose
God’s promise to all
spread by our loving words
