Coming Back to Christ - edited

When we desert him, deny him
rejecting God, the Christ,
he is there, always
waiting, arms open,
when we come back to him

We too, like the first of them,
the fishermen and the others,
sharing a calling from the Lord;
work to do when we return
disciples we are all called to be
