Interconnected

The world, the web of life
all of us connected
consequences for our choices
impacting the earth

Our footsteps falling
landing upon the path
leaving remnants
when we are long gone

To tend and to care for
so was our commission
placed in the garden
at the beginning of time

Not consumers but stewards
servants of the master
given the wondrous garden
that sustains all life.
