Steeling the Timid

The risen Christ
coming to the disciples
even entering
through locked doors
steeling the timid
that they would believe
to spread the good news
to the whole world

We, like them,
needing to believe
to do our part in our time
to spread the message
of God’s love
hope for all
of mankind
