As Your Servants

As your servants
your children, this legacy
the world, the universe
created by your loving hand
wonders to behold
given to you and to me

Given to us to care for
given dominion, to pass down
the brief candle of our lives
that our children would inherit
the fruits of your loving hands
the bounty of our grace
