In Prayer, Discernment

In the quiet of my soul
bowing my head, silent
no words audible
praying to you in the quiet
in the stillness of my soul

Finding you there
waiting ever for me
in the quiet presence
away from the day to day

Speaking when I am open
to your presence
in my prayer, discernment
receptive to your word, oh God
speak, I am listening
