Part of God’s Plan

The road to Calvary
from the beginning
before the creation
the cross’ shadow looming
part of God’s plan

Prepared from the beginning
our fall from grace,
the failure of the law,
the need for Christ
to take our place

Going to the cross
that we could be his children
redeemed by the blood of the lamb
dying and rising again

Chosen before the world
knowing our names in glory
going the way of the glory
children of God
