Knowing Us

Like Jesus at the well
knowing her fully
all about her
God knowing us
all that we are
all we hope to be

Living in communion
with an intimate God
loving us anyway
as flawed as we are
offering relationship
our hope in him alone

Ever and always
our savior, our God
walking beside us
in the struggles of life
guiding our steps
safely to the other side
