In the Comfort of God

Alone among them
able to sleep
resting peacefully
in the comfort of God

Not fearing the day to day
even the storms on the sea
resting securely in the arms of God
as we should be each day

Jesus Slept

In the one who came from heaven
remembering the sabbath
taking time for rest
Jesus slept in the boat
the winds, the waves
the storm all around
trusting in the creator
to guide their path
to watch over them
leading them to still waters
rest from their labors
