Too Late - 2

After we are dead
sitting in the grave
our spirits going
where the judgment calls
too late to change our ways

Whether at the feet of God
or burning in hell
the story of the rich man
our choice to make
in the way we live our lives

His protests on deaf ears
the judgment already done
his choice to live for himself
not caring for his neighbors
not going the way of the Christ
