Blind to the Proofs

How can we not notice
how can we not be aware
God answers our prayers
if we but ask

What he did in creation
the promises he has kept
what he offered in Jesus
in his sacrifice on the cross

We are blind to the proofs
or else we would be on our knees
ever praying to our father
the maker of all that is

Knowing he will answer
as he always has
ever should we be praying
to our savior, our God
