Leaving the Dead

The mission to the living
to those who would hear
to go out into the world
because the kingdom is near

The time is now
to spread the message
leaving the dead
to tend for the dead

Ours is a purpose
a ministry to share
hope to the nations
to all who would hear

Going out
leaving our comfort
sharing the witness
of God’s love for the world
