Distracting his focus
his eyes shifting
losing Christ
in that moment
Though the master was before him
standing on the waters
a sudden wind causing
him to sink
How quickly we doubt
fail to act boldly
how soon we let the world
pull us from You
If we could have faith
just as the mustard seed
mountains would move
at the sound of our voice
The winds calling
ever blowing
needing to listen
only to God
Our feet would be steady
there on the waters
how much we miss
when we listen to the wind
