Everything He Taught

Nothing like society
what we are taught on earth
Everything Christ taught
utterly opposite, love

Blessed to be poor
humbly loving others
seeking only the love of God
not riches here below

Aware of our weaknesses
giving as we are able
pouring out the gifts we have
that others may know God

Nothing like society
what we are taught on earth,
gathering riches in this life,
instead storing them up in heaven
that all would have eternal life
