Lord Make Us Ready

Only You Lord
able to change us
we need to be open
but You are the healing agent

Lord make us ready
through the month of Advent
coming to Your stable
to Your manger bed

Food You give us
water to guide us
living, alive
flowing in our veins

We need this season
to turn from our wanderings
needing to turn
humbly back to You

Lord make us ready
for the coming Christ-child;
make us ready for
Your return in victory
