More Like the Shepherds

No special gifts
precious metals
or noble fragrances
offering simpler things
more like the shepherds
coming at the angels’ call
bowing before our Savior
with the gifts of my life
submitted to His will
to guide the steps
my path in his hands
and on this rock I stand
