Overwhelming Victory is Ours

Despite all the struggles
the trials of this world
even if we are persecuted
nothing can truly harm us

We have a mighty Savior
overwhelming victory is ours
He has redeemed us ever
by going to the cross

The risen Lord and Savior
our King reigning on high
born humbly in the stable
living that we no more may die

All of these days a trial
yet we must maintain perspective
God has already saved us
by Christ’s sacrifice and His rising
from the cross, the grave, the skies
