Shone in Our Hearts

The indwelling Spirit
that breath of Jesus
the tongues of fire
burning brightly within

God has brought us
back to us
shone his light
deep into our hearts

We are to carry
the joy of that fire
the light for the world
to pierce the darkness

We are to go
to carry the light
the hope of the world
in the life of the Christ
