Where is the Love

Not in this world
in the values of this culture
in rushing about
climbing over each other

Where is the love
the hope of the nations
where is the joy
in this season of waiting

The love is in Jesus
in God coming down
humble, as a servant
wearing the thorny crown

Only if we approach
humble, on our knees
sensing His holy presence
walking beside you and me

God has borne witness
to his life for all of us
sending his Son to save us
restoring us to Him
seeking only good for us
offering us hope, eternity
