Within My Clay

Held within my clay
the treasure of my faith
my belief in Christ
the coming of the King

The Advent season
waiting for our God
in the presence of the babe
in the King upon the clouds

The Spirit moving
guiding my feet
leading me to the manger
to the cross
out into the world

Within my clay

needing to be shared
with everyone on earth
