His Light Poured into Us

The love of God revealed
given in the Christ
coming down from heaven
becoming the sacrifice

His light shining
in his walk on this earth
by living and dying
giving us new birth

His light poured into us
the Spirit indwelling
witnesses to his goodness
in all of our telling

Bearing His light
to the ends of the earth
offering hope
to all who will hear
