Authentic Prophets

Each of us called
to stand in the breach
with our Savior
more sinners to reach

To be like John
standing in the wilderness
calling to the vipers
to repent of their sin

Each of us convicted
our death our stain
only be Christ’s grace
is our judgment washed away

Only in accepting
to his kingdom come
only in our witness
will others be made aware

Teach the message
authentic witnesses here
loving our neighbors
as we serve the Lord

Going as we are called
to the ends of the earth
only in Jesus
do we have eternal birth
