Giving Them Our Stones

Our innocence an illusion
a lie to ourselves
a line in the sand our portion
giving our stones to them

A decision to be rendered
the charges already made
he ministry in the balance
when we cast the first stone

The judgment of man
our law, not principles
finding her unworthy
by her acts of love for others
for being who she is
