In the Resurrection

In the Resurrection
the second part of grace
the first being the sacrifice
wiping clean the slate

The second is the rising
lifting us from death
rising with our Savior
to continue his work on earth

In the Ascension
the rising of Christ
preparing a place for us
at the end of our days

Prepared for the Pentecost
the coming of the Spirit
to fill us with fire
to send us forth to serve
