Adding Yeast

So many of the moments
the changes in our lives
standing on the Spirit
filling our days
Our path different
well filled, to overflowing
adding yeast
growing within

Sending us forth
to be the fragrance
the effervescence
The salt, the yeast
the light of the risen Christ
to carry the recipe
God’s message of love
