By our comforting touch

God’s presence with them
in times of struggle
in our listening ear
by our comforting touch
just being present with them

Not judging our neighbor
just walking beside them
yoked together with Christ
on the journey of our days

Going to our brother, our sister
lifting them up when they are in pain
not judging, preaching
holding them, in our arms
in the loving arms of God
