His blood shed on the cross

Atoning sacrifice
Fragrant offering
healing the breach
by his outpouring of love
offering hope
by descending to the earth
making peace with the creator
by his blood shed on the cross
paying our price
the awful cost
redeeming us whole
that none would be lost
