His gentle voice

Wooing us to him
guiding our journey
calling to us
in gentle whispers
God wanting us to follow
to heed his calling
keeping us on the path
the journey of faith
guarding, protecting
leading us safely
through the shoals, the trials
the struggles of our days
He is steadfast
ever calling
wanting us to follow
to listen to
his gentle voice
