Seeing Through the Eyes of Christ

Informed by his words for us
by his love, his sacrifice
offered for all of us
though we denied his name

Love came to us
through his mercy, his grace
teaching us how to love
to offer light to the world

Seeing him in the flesh
now in paradise
seeing now through the eyes of Christ
in his love, his sacrifice

Wanting all to be healed
to be brought to the feet of grace
to know the saving power of Christ
to be restored once more to God

2 Corinthians 5:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.”
