Milk of the living word

Like newborn infants
needing simple food
milk of God’s blessing
milk of the living word

We crave its comfort
our growing within
fruit of our salvation;
oh, let us live

Drawing near to God
fed by his grace
manna from heaven
honey of the word

Oh look and see
taste the word of God
honey to our lips
salvation for our soul
