Something sanguine
serene, effusive
wanting me to sing, to write
to muse on the beauty
the leaves falling,
sometimes in sheets,
the oranges, and crimsons
the yellow wood alive
beneath the azure of autumn
the crisp lines of vision
no mist of summer
clear bright colors
exploding in precision
