Rejoicing for His coming

John in the water
in the living waters flowing
in the Jordan singing
crying out for all of us
to come and be washed
to repent of our sins
rejoicing for his coming
the coming of the King
the one long foretold
the Messiah, our Savior
come to heal the whole world
to bring us home to God
