Come to the cross of strength

Come to the cross of strength
the fount of kingdom power
where God worked the impossible
redeeming us from death

the sacrifice complete
no priest need again offer
all sin for all time
forgiven by Christ’s action

Atoning for all mankind
for all humanity
God of power, of mercy
going to the cross for me

Come to the cross of strength
bring your hopes your sorrows
journey there with the Christ
he is right beside you
