He had preached in the temple
he had healed many people
no harm had any befallen
by the hand of the Christ

Yet Christ was bound by the soldiers
taken away in chains
even those who had bowed down
before the Son of Man

Captured in the night
in secret, with the betrayer
Judas had brought them to Him
in the garden, Gethsemane
