a warrior-Messiah,
a servant-king
submitting to God’s plan
over everything
Christ speaking to them
to Peter, in love
to stop the bloodshed
giving himself over
to be captured, arrested
that they may go free
fulfilling all prophets
to God unto thee
Choosing the path
the road before him
through the Temple, the trial
up Calvary’s hill
