Wealth is not a blessing, wealth is a test

Wealth is not a blessing
more things of this earth
accumulating, storing
our treasure, our reward
All of this a curse
an indictment against us
to be used as it is given
blessed to be a blessing

Wealth is a test
the things of this earth
they can be a blessing
or they can be a curse
a curse if we hold them
a blessing if we give
as richly as we have been given
so others may simply live
