We have seen the risen Christ

We were gathered in
within the locked room
afraid, pensive
not knowing what to do
Christ came through the wall
through the locked door
breathing peace upon us
life evermore

We have seen the risen Christ
standing before us
sharing a meal
as when he was with us
alive, risen, yet in so ways spirit
God, yet fully human
overflowing with joy
life evermore
