What did Jesus see

What did Jesus see
looking in the crowd
who was present there
did they lead him to the cross

What did Jesus see
did he see broken people
yearning to be free
to walk with the Master

What did Jesus see
looking on the people
did he sheep without a shepherd
lost, gone astray

What did Jesus see
did he see broken people
held by demons, our own sin
crying out for freedom
