Like a lightning bolt

May tongues of fire
alight upon me
cutting through me
like a lightning bolt

Transform me fully
unlike before
change me, fill me
I want to serve

May tongues of fire
the Spirit burning
fill me richly
to do your bidding

Transform me fully
remold my life
send me forth Spirit
to bear God’s light
