Unexpected

The work of God
the gift of grace
the gift of the Holy Spirit
descending on them
Unexpected, unwelcome
the believer’s jealous
for a moment unbelieving
that God would bless them
the Spirit open to the others
other sheep of the one shepherd
all people blessed, all over the world
