Adopted by God

Born into a new life
a new family, merging
grafted to the vine
into the living water
Sensing kinship
adopted by God
crying out, Abba, Father
to our King, knowing
sensing, He is with us
the Spirit indwelling
urging, teaching
feeling Him with us
guiding our steps
a father patient
mercy without end
