entombed in our soil
as in the garden planted
in God’s time to grow
we are to feed the spark within us
to water the seed with love
the Word, God’s holy scripture
living waters of His love
God’s seed growing
his hand upon our lives
if we submit to him
bearing his holy light
we are to feed the spark within us
the flowering of his grace
his Spirit to guide us
on this walk of faith
