Love the Sinner, Hate Ourselves

Ours not to judge
but to hate our past
the sin which we carry
making us lost

We are to bow down
to fall at Christ’s feet
at the foot of the cross
in the garden with him

We are to love
to love the sinner, ourselves
to love Jesus, our Savior,
our brother, our Guide

Love the sinner
our sisters, brothers in this walk
hating only ourselves
the sin remaining in our lives
