To sow seeds in other fields – v5

Because we chose to judge them
barred from our fields
of sacred worth yet unworthy
only to sit in the pews
those we have deemed incompatible
by their status denied
their work for God’s kingdom
God’s glory maligned

Because we chose to judge them
sent out to other lands
other denominations,
other sheep of the kingdom
to share their witness, freely,
to sow seeds in other fields
called unworthy by our law
to sow their seeds for God
