and there was a voice

Christ falling below the waters

in the arms of John

rising, praying

The Spirit descending

physically, like a dove

landing bodily upon him

filling him with love

And there was a voice

a voice from heaven above

through the rent of heaven

speaking to us below

God spoke paternity

claiming Christ as his own

the watchful loving Father

sent the Son into the world
