Watered where we are stuck

God finds us where we are
already there with us
watered where we are stuck
lost in this world

God comes to us
like the father running to the Prodigal
gathering us into his arms
keeping us safe from harm

Watered where we are stuck
giving us food, nourishment
that we may grow in time
to lift up God’s kingdom

Each of us to bear fruit
in this time and place
while we walk the earth
grounded in God’s grace
