not just in ancient times
to Moses, the prophets
God still calls us
as he did the disciples
each of us gifted
work we can do
given a purpose
yes, even you
God still calls us
to serve, in the body,
to share in the work
to use all our gifts
some for planting
some for the harvest
all by God’s plan
joining in the work
