Deep within our hearts
love overflowing
give thanks to the Lord
for his faithfulness,
forgiveness
Give thanks to the Lord
his call to our living
life within his arms
faithful, in covenant
deep feelings welling up
praise, joy, overflowing
for he is good
give thanks to the Lord
God’s presence here with us
God is ever faithful
no matter how we rebel
denying, cursing our Savior
running away from our God
his love endures forever
as he proved on the cross
