Trying to be faithful
to the teachings of Christ
seeking his grace
in my daily life
Straining forward
against the bit of my
resistance
seeking to control
when I should be led
Taking His yoke
raising to my shoulders
actually lowering it upon me
to feel it around my neck
Only then able, without
control,
walking with my Savior
journeying with my brother
in the way that leads to
life
